Vavla Village, Cyprus

Vavla Village, (Greek: Βάβλα) is located in Larnaca District, at 450 metres above sea level in the lower level of the Troodos Mountain Range. Vavla village was strategically built nestled on a hill side in 1450 a.c. Most of the houses in Vavla are stoned built (local Lefkara stone). Vavla has 3 churches (St. George, Archangel Michael and Virgin of Love) and 1 monastery (St. Minas).

Pending on time of the year, wild flowers abound. The sea is always welcoming to enjoy,…walk along the seaside, swimming in it, looking at it, enjoying the sight and sound of it.
